Objectives of the Course  The main aim is to introduce the scope of the profession to first-year mechanical engineering students through invited speakers, lectures and technical trips. Also, another aim is to develop students research skills and creative thinking with small projects.
Course Content  Introduction to mechanical engineering. Speeches by invited speakers. Lectures on how to give a seminar and how to write a report. Technical trips to various industrial sites. Work on a project, write a report and present the project.
