Objectives of the Course To teach fundamentals of MATLAB/Octave and some toolboxes.
To teach variable definition, creating arrays, using script fies, matrix operations, reading and writing files, plotting 2 and 3 dimensional graphs, writing algorithms, using conditional expressions and loops, writing matlab functions and tools for symbolic calculation.
To understand how to use MATLAB/Octave to solve mathematical problems
Course Content Matlab/Octave basics, creating arrays, using script files, 2 dimensional plots, programming in Matlab/Octave, Operators, Conditional Statements and Loops, defining function and creating function files, applications of functions, 3 dimensional plots, transferring and solving various mathematical problems to computer environment with Matlab/Octave, symbolic computations with Matlab/Octave
