Objectives of the Course The Seminar course aims to give undergraduate students an opportunity to explore a specific mathematical subject or to read and understand a mathematical article. In this course, students are expected to communicate their problems with the instructor, make short oral presentations every week, and write reports. Students may work on their own or collaborate with other students as well. The course can help students feel comfortable when performing tasks in their future work and research projects.
Course Content The student and the instructor choose the study topic from popular
mathematical journals or from some interesting subjects which are not covered in the undergraduate curriculum.
